ARI researchers appointed professors at Chinese University of Hong Kong

AO Research Institute Davos (ARI) Director Geoff Richards has been appointed Adjunct Professor at the Chinese University of Hong Kong (CUHK). The Adjunct Professorship is the highest available to external faculty. Additionally, ARI Vice Director Martin Stoddart has been appointed Adjunct Associate Professor at CUHK. Both appointments will run from March 2025 until March 2027.

“I am extremely honored and delighted to have been awarded the adjunct professorship at CUHK after having been connected with my good friend Prof Ling Qin since the early 1990s when he was a fellow here at ARI and having had numerous research collaborations with him and his team since then at CUHK. Since I became director of ARI in 2009, I have also collaborated on projects with their Center for Translational Medicine R&D at the Institute of Biomedical & Health Engineering of Shenzhen Institutes of Advanced Technology (SIAT), where Ling is Director. CUHK is an outstanding university with a very dedicated team at the Department of Orthopaedics and Traumatology, which recently celebrated its 40th anniversary,” said Geoff Richards.
