Faculty can now bring AO Surgery Reference directly into the learning experience with Recommended Reading collections that give participants easy access to relevant clinical content.
Each Recommended Reading collection contains curriculum specific, expert-selected AO Surgery Reference pages aligned with course topics and learning objectives. Rather than directing participants to the entire AO Surgery Reference platform, these collections provide a focused and practical starting point.
Depending on the course, collections may include content on patient examination, surgical approaches, key procedures, and other topics relevant to the anatomical area.
Recommended content aligned with courses
The Recommended Reading collections are designed to support both faculty and participants by bringing together relevant resources in one place. Faculty can refer to the collection when introducing a topic, use it to support presentations and discussions, or direct participants to additional content for further study.
Provided in Faculty Support Packages
Recommended Reading collections are included in Faculty Support Packages alongside other materials used to prepare for and deliver AO educational events.
Participants receive information about the relevant collection through course communications, and faculty can further promote its use during the course. QR codes are provided, making it easy to introduce collections in presentations and provide direct access to the content.
By highlighting these resources at appropriate points throughout the event, faculty can help participants make the most of the learning materials available to them and continue building their knowledge after the course.
