For our annual AO Trauma Masters DACH Seminar we were invited to Vienna by our Austrian collegues in November 2022

Vom 17.11 und 18.11.2022 fand in Wien das AO Trauma Masters Seminar DACH statt. Der Titel lautete : Komplikationen und Infektionen: Was ist schief gelaufen. Bei diesem, leider nicht voll besetzten Seminar, konnten wir während 2 Tagen neben ein wenig Theorie viele interessante Fälle diskutieren, kommentieren und analysieren. Die offenen Diskussionen mit einer engagierten Faculty und extrem motivierten Teilnehmern waren für alle lehrreich und kurzweilig. Für mich ist das Format mit 80% Falldiskussionen (auch Fälle der Teilnehmer wurden diskutiert) mit Abstand die beste Art zum Lernen.

Our annual DACH AO Trauma Masters Seminar was held from November 17th to 18th 2022 in Vienna. The topic was: «Komplikationen und Infektionen: Was ist schief gelaufen». During the two days we had the opportunity to discuss many very interesting cases while also getting some theoretical inputs. Unfortunately the seminar was not fully booked, nevertheless the open discussions between the highly engaged faculty and the extremely motivated participants have been of high educational value for all and time passed so quickly. For me this format with 80% case-discussions (including cases from participants) offers by far the best learning experience!
