AO Trauma Europe and Southern Africa announces regional election results 2022

AO Trauma Europe and Southern Africa (AO TESA) is pleased to announce the results of its 2022 elections.

The election processes have been monitored and approved by the respective Nomination Committees, are aligned with the currently valid terms of reference, and have been confirmed by the mandated governance bodies.

Reto Babst, the current AO TESA Chairperson of the Education Committee, will take over the position as Chairperson of the AO TESA Board for one year and ensure a smooth continuation of the regional affairs.

Jonathan Monk from the UK, the current AO TESA Board Chairperson will step down one year earlier from his position. Jonathan Monk guided the AO TESA Board competent through the last two challenging years and will also in the future support the Region with the content development for the ALIS – A Lifetime in Surgery format.
