Applications must be submitted through the online application system by October 11, 2026, 23:59 CET (UTC +2).

The Nomination Committee (NomCom) will review all applications and approve the eligible candidates.
 

Electorate and Voting Mechanism

Based on the AO Trauma AP Terms of Reference, the following voting mechanism applies

Electorate: 

• Current AO Trauma AP Regional Board member who is not running for this election has one vote each, current AO Trauma AP Board Chairperson has the casting vote if required.
• One vote per AO Trauma AP Council (13 councils), the administrative control of the vote is allocated to each Council Chairperson. If the Council Chairperson runs for the election, the Education Officer of that council acquired the administrative control of the vote.

Voting mechanism:

First-past-the-post by anonymous e-voting. A multiple run-off electronic voting process will be applied. If a candidate achieves an absolute majority in any round, that candidate is declared the winner. In each round, the candidate receiving the fewest votes is eliminated. Additional voting rounds will be conducted until a candidate obtains an absolute majority.
