AO Surgery Reference releases intraoperative imaging compendium in adult trauma section
The award-winning AO Surgery Reference now includes a compendium providing links to all available intraoperative imaging pages in its adult trauma section.
The content of these pages is based on the AO Imaging Curriculum. For use in the AO Surgery Reference, the corresponding course material was adapted and extended by Daniel Rikli, with Simon Lambert as editor. Each joint module—from the shoulder down to the ankle in the adult trauma skeleton—now contains information on how to obtain optimal images. Color marks help users to recognize and understand radiographical landmarks.
During an interview at the AO Davos Courses 2022, Rikli discussed the setup of the AO Imaging Curriculum and his experience as contributor in this project.
