AO Trauma Europe Masters Course—Orthoplastics in Extremity Trauma (With Human Anatomical Specimens)

Two days orthoplastics in extremity trauma in Bern – what an unforgettable and educational experience!

The faculty, a mixture of orthopaedic trauma and plastic surgeons, presented some keynote lectures and case discussions. The practical exercises with anatomical specimens were focused on different flap preparation around the lower extremity. The participants from different countries, mainly Europe, were highly motivated. All of them were interested in the orthoclastic management of open fractures and soft tissue breakdown as well as soft tissue defect as a team approach between orthopaedic trauma and plastic surgeons.
