Daniel Sciubba, MD elected as the AO SNA representative to the AO NA Board of Directors.

Dear AO North America Members: 

Many thanks to John France, MD, for serving as the AO Spine North America (AO SNA) representative on the AO NA Board of Directors (BoD) since 2020. During his four-year term, Dr. France has been a thoughtful advocate for the clinical division and AO NA. On behalf of the AO NA BoD, please join me in thanking John for his outstanding service to AO NA.

I am pleased to announce that Daniel Sciubba, MD, has been elected for a four-year term and will serve as the AO SNA representative to the AO NA Board of Directors. 

Dr. Sciubba is Professor and Chair of Neurological Surgery at the Zucker School of Medicine at Hofstra/Northwell. He also is the Co-Director of the Institute of Neurology & Neurosurgery at Northwell. He specializes in the surgical treatment of complex spinal conditions, including tumors, degenerative spine diseases, spinal deformities, and scoliosis. In addition to his medical degree from Columbia University, Dr. Sciubba holds a Master of Business Administration from the Wharton School of Business at the University of Pennsylvania. He completed his residency in neurosurgery at Johns Hopkins Hospital and two complex spine fellowships at Johns Hopkins University and Shriners Hospital in Philadelphia, PA.

He is highly committed to the principles of AO and AO NA. He has served as faculty and contributed significantly to the SNA Fellowship Committee and the SNA Research Committee.
