Call for Abstracts

Abstract submission closed on January 17, 2024.  
We received 100 submissions.  Thank you for your interest in contributing to OneAO 2024.  We will post all the accepted abstracts and award winners soon.  


 

The OneAO committee invites research on topics of relevance to AO members including scientific, education, innovation and leadership. Projects with broad cross-sectional appeal are encouraged, and case reports are allowed.

This year’s OneAO meeting combines the annual leadership meeting with cutting edge presentations on education and leadership. Special sessions on diversity and career development for young members will enhance networking and allow dissemination of innovation occurring within the AO.  Abstract submission closes January 17, 2024.

Submission Guidelines

  • Submissions from all divisions are welcome (CMF, Recon, Spine, Sports, Trauma, and VET)
  • Abstracts that have that have been published are welcome and will be considered
  • Submissions have a one-page limit—tables and figures are allowed (maximum of two), but are not included in the page limit
  • At least one author of the submission must be a current AO Member (Not a member? Apply here)
  • Selected abstracts will submit a poster—poster guidelines will be shared upon selection
  • Posters will be judged by surgeons from all specialties at OneAO and prizes will be awarded

Grants to cover travel, registration, and hotel are available on a limited basis for up to 60 accepted abstract authors!
