Description
This invite-only program is designed to help you prepare for success as faculty and consists of:
Online preparations five weeks prior to the live event
These preparations will start with a self-assessment. You will then be given a fundamental understanding of how adults learn, giving a lecture, running practical exercises, and leading group discussions. You are also encouraged to use the platform to get to know your fellow participants and start interacting with each other.
Live event (one and a half days)
The face-to-face event begins with an interactive session that establishes an understanding of quality education at AO North America courses. Each participant will give a 7-minute lecture and run a 10-minute discussion group. Following these presentations, the participant will receive detailed feedback from the group and the faculty/educator.
Online follow-up
These activities end with the post course self-assessment after the event and ongoing online discussion. An assessment during participant’s first live teaching event is required.
