Grant writing workshop

Opportunity for current trauma fellows and clinicians early in their practice to develop research and grant writing skills

One of the key strategic objectives of AO North America, the Center for Orthopaedic Injury Research and Innovation (COIRI), and the Orthopaedic Trauma Association, is to promote the development of aspiring new researchers in the field of orthopaedic trauma.

We are pleased to announce that at this year’s One AO/LearnX 2023, we will be hosting the Young Investigator/Grant Writing Workshop, conducted by the Center for Orthopaedic Injury Research and Innovation (COIRI).

This course will focus on topics critical for young investigators and clinician scientists, including building, funding, and managing a research program; new methodologic approaches to translational and clinical research; and grant writing—with an opportunity for attendees to present and receive feedback on study and grant ideas.

The workshop is directed toward current trauma fellows and practicing clinicians within five years of completing their post-graduate training.
