AO VET North America is proud to once again partner with the American College of Veterinary Surgeons (ACVS) to offer the AO Program for Education and Excellence in Research (AO PEER) Level 2 course at the 2025 ACVS Surgery Summit in Seattle, Washington.
This hands-on, expert-led course is designed to help veterinarians strengthen their skills in preparing and publishing scientific manuscripts.
About the Course
This Level 2 AO PEER course introduces participants to the principles, workflow, and challenges of writing and publishing a scientific article. Participants will gain a deeper understanding of:
Defining research content and structure
Best practices for illustrating and formatting manuscripts
Scientific writing and editing techniques
Navigating the peer-review process
Common pitfalls to avoid
How to apply reviewers’ feedback to improve a submission
Whether you're preparing your first manuscript or looking to refine your research communication skills, this course will equip you with the tools to succeed.
