Module 1: Surgical Management of Pelvic Fractures

Dates: September 17-18, 2024

This module emphasizes advanced imaging, diagnostic planning, and hands-on surgical techniques to expose fractures of the ilium, acetabulum, or sacrum. You'll also learn to choose the most appropriate reduction techniques and fixation methods for various scenarios, including complex cases with minimal bone stock or multiple injuries.

Module 2: Periarticular Trauma of the Pelvic Limb

Master the diagnosis and management of luxations, articular/periarticular fractures of the pelvic limb, and Achille's tendon injuries. This module builds on skills from AO VET NA's Principles and Advanced Fracture Management courses, focusing on complex fractures of the distal extremity and stifle joint.

Prerequisites

  2. AO VET Advanced Techniques in Small Animal Fracture Management course (highly recommended)

Continuing Education and Accreditation
