Your Donation Matters

Without AO North America’s assistance, Taylor Yong, MD, might never have had the opportunity to secure an AO TNA Named Fellowship, work alongside an established colleague, and refine his surgical expertise in a new country. In 2018, after attending the AO Trauma NA Basic Principles of Fracture Management course in Baltimore, Dr. Yong was inspired to pursue every opportunity AO offered to young surgeons and trainees. 

With AO’s support, he embarked on a transformative journey to Universitätsspital Basel, a destination recommended by his fellowship director, Dr. Bill Obremskey. This opportunity allowed Dr. Yong to collaborate with Dr. Mario Morgenstern, a respected member of the AO Fracture-Related infection consensus group, and continues a legacy of excellence that Dr. Obremskey experienced during his own AO fellowship over 20 years ago.
