AO VET NA Blended Course—Operative Treatment of Veterinary Craniomaxillofacial Trauma and Reconstruction (with animal anatomical specimens)
Date: August 8, 2024 - August 10, 2024
This course addresses current and newer techniques / innovative concepts of maxillofacial trauma and fracture repair – utilizing techniques that respect the local anatomy (dentition and related structures) as well as maintaining orthopedic first principles of fracture repair. The goal of this course is to provide enhanced background training on dental structures, their physiology and their role in aiding or impeding fracture fixation.

AO VET NA Blended Course—Surgical Management of Pelvic Fractures & Periarticular Trauma of the Pelvic Limb

Spotlight Series Module 1: Surgical Management of Pelvic Fractures – September 17 – 18, 2024
This new module aims to provide participants with all of the required knowledge and skills to address pelvic fractures in dogs. Following the use of pre-course case-based discussion, participants will be able to devise and interpret a comprehensive diagnostic plan for patients with pelvic fractures. This will include the use of advanced imaging and planning software, as required, in order to formulate an appropriate therapeutic plan.
Spotlight Series Module 2: Periarticular Trauma of the Pelvic Limb – September 19 – 20, 2024
Joint injury and subsequent instability is a common problem in pets, athletes and working dogs subjected to excessive trauma. Joint injury leads to poor function, pain and osteoarthritis. In this Master's Spotlight Series course, we will discuss the diagnosis and management of luxations and articular/periarticular fractures of the pelvic limb (excluding fractures of the Pelvis/SI Luxations) and Achille's tendon injury.

AO VET NA Blended Course—Principles of Small Animal Fracture Management
Date: September 30 – October 2, 2024
The AO VET Course - Principles in Small Animal Fracture Management is designed to provide participants with a basic, fundamental knowledge of bone healing and how it can be favorably influenced through internal fixation of fractures. The scientific principles of fracture repair and their practical application to the clinical situation are presented in lectures and hands-on laboratory sessions.

AO VET NA Masters Course—Feline Orthopedics (with feline orthopedic specimens)
Date: October 3 - 4, 2024
This course is designed to provide participants with a comprehensive knowledge of specific feline orthopedic diseases and the clinical signs associated with them through the precourse module as well as onsite lectures and interactive sessions. Both non-surgical and surgical treatment modalities will be discussed and demonstrated in hands-on laboratory sessions and case-based discussions. Emphasis will be placed on challenging conditions commonly encountered in cats and circumstances where therapeutics may differ to those universally employed in canine patients.
