Young Investigator's Workshop
One of the key strategic objectives of AO North America, the Center for Orthopaedic Injury Research and Innovation (COIRI) and the Orthopaedic Trauma Association, is to promote the development of aspiring new researchers in the field of Orthopaedic trauma. We are pleased to announce the 2nd annual course entitled Young Investigator’s Workshop. This course will be conducted in cooperation with the OneAO 2024 in Phoenix, Arizona and will focus on topics critical for young investigators/clinician scientists, including building, funding, and managing a research program, new methodologic approaches to translational and clinical research and grant writing with an opportunity for attendees to present and receive feedback on study/grant ideas. This opportunity is directed toward current trauma fellows and/or practicing clinicians within 5 years of completing their post-graduate training. Attendees are responsible for travel, lodging. The registration fee will cover the workshop as well. 15 stipends are available
