Global Spine Diploma Program is open for applications

AO Spine is delighted to open applications for the renewed 12-month Global Spine Diploma Program. Only 100 seats available for each intake, deadline for applications is May 15, 2023.

The Global Spine Diploma (GSD) Program is the first globally developed systematic training pathway for spine specialists—for young surgeons qualified in orthopedic, neuro, or trauma surgery, who are optimizing their knowledge in all pathologies to implement in their daily practice. The program has been designed by world-renowned AO Spine surgeons to ensure it meets the demands for excellence.

Next start dates are in August 2023 or February 2023.

What's inside:

• 5 modules, 8 weeks each: Trauma, Lumbar Degeneration, Cervical Degeneration, Deformity, and Infection/Oncology
• Total program duration 12 months
• Time investment, approximately 3–5 hours per week
• 2–3 live-case discussions for each module,
• Monthly live sessions with leading spine experts
• The program is flexible, allowing participants to learn at their own pace
• Two start dates annually, in August and in February
• Access to a vast library of resources: video lectures, articles, and book chapters in all pathologies
