Through the AO faculty development programs experienced interested surgeons and clinical experts can develop their skills and become AO faculty members, serving as teachers and educational experts for AO's clinical educational events.

How to become AO CMF faculty?
In order to become an AO CMF Faculty you must follow the official faculty application process presented below:
- Start by checking that you meet all the requirements
- Submit your faculty application
- Become a faculty candidate
- Complete the teaching assignments and get feedback
If all requirements are met and you have completed the teaching assignments with good results, the regional board will grant you the faculty status and invite you to a Faculty Education Program (FEP) to further develop your skills as an educator.
