    • Discuss the controversies around the treatment of condylar fractures (open versus closed)
    • Describe the topographic anatomy for surgical approaches to the TMJ
    • Describe the soft- and hard-tissue surgery around the TMJ
    • Perform computer planning for surgical treatment to correct facial asymmetry
    • Perform the repair of a condylar fracture with open reduction and internal fixation (ORIF)
    • Perform the reconstruction of the TMJ with a costochondral graft
    • Perform the key steps for placement of a TMJ prosthesis
  • Course participants

    Certified surgeons in oral and maxillofacial surgery, ear, nose, and throat (ENT), or plastics with 5–10 years of experience, who deal with trauma and reconstruction of musculoskeletal head and neck disorders as well as congenital and acquired deformities of the craniofacial skeleton, specifically the TMJ.
