SynFrame / Standard Access Radiolucent Retractor Blades
With the introduction of the SynFrame Standard Access and Retractor System, anterior mini-open procedures and less-invasive spine surgery became attainable for many surgeons. The SynFrame Standard Access and Retractor System enables small incisions and significantly reduces tissue damage and blood loss. In anterior lumbar procedures, both fusion and disc arthroplasty, improved intraoperative fluoroscopic visibility is needed. In disc arthroplasty good visualization is especially important. The radiolucent retractor blades offer surgeons a wider range of options for patients with excessive soft tissue and varying patient anatomy and provides improved fluoroscopic visualization. They are available in 80200 mm lengths in the standard 25 mm width and wide 50 mm width. The black surface coating also helps to reduce glare from the instruments during surgery.
