Mandible External Fixation Set
The Mandible External Fixation System stabilizes and provides treatment for fractures of the mandibular area, including severe open fractures, highly comminuted closed fractures, nonunions, and delayed unions (especially associated with infection), fractures associated with infections, tumor resections, facial deformity corrections, gunshot wounds, panfacial fractures, burn maintenance, and bone grafting defects.
500 mm Rod for Mandible External Fixator System
Feedback from surgeons using the already existing Mandible External Fixator revealed that some larger patients would benefit from a longer titanium rod than is currently available.
To accommodate this need, a kit has been developed, which includes a 500 mm long titanium rod as well as a respective 500 mm long bending template. This is available either as sterile or nonsterile. Both are offered as additionally available items to the Mandible External Fixator Set.
Small Universal Chuck with T-Handle, SS
The Small Universal Chuck with T-Handle is used to insert Schanz screws or wires from 1.0 - 6.0 mm diameters. The size of the T-Handle has been reduced for lighter weight and easier handling and will be available for all External Fixation Systems.
