AO Center Visit for course participants of the ETH Course "Skeletal Repair" 2020
20 April 2020
The hands-on training for participants of the ETH Master course "Skeletal Repair", scheduled for April 17-18, 2020, unfortunately had to be cancelled due to COVID-19 pandemic.
We nevertheless will offer the students the opportunity to visit the AO Center and get insight into research projects and activities ongoing at the AO Research Institute Davos.
This event is highly recommended for students who are interested in an internship or Master Thesis project at the AO Research Institute Davos. Participants will get an introduction into all focus areas of the Regenerative Orthopaedics Program, the activities of the Biomedical Development Program and information on the Preclinical Services Program. Possibilities for internships, MSc or PhD thesis projects will be discussed with the responsible focus area leaders and senior scientists; MSc and PhD students with ETH affiliation working at the AO Research Institute will be available to discuss their experience and motivation.
The one-day event will take place on Friday the 11th September 2020, at the AO Center Davos. The preliminary program is outlined below.
