Center description
The Irmandade da Santa Casa de Misericórdia of Sao Paulo is a private institution considered one of the most important Hospitalary Reference Center in the state of Sao Paulo and the biggest filantropic hospital in Latin America. It receives around 8 thousand people a day, in all medical speciaties.
The Spine Staff is organized by a Program Director, a Spine Group Chief and 3 Spine Surgery Assistants. All the cases are discussed on Tuesdays, when the orthopedics residents and spine fellows can join and actively participate. Surgical cases are managed to 6 periods into the OR, during the week. On Fridays they take rounds and go to the Clinic.
