eCM Journal is founded by scientists for the benefit of science rather than profit.

eCM Journal provides an interdisciplinary forum for the publication of preclinical research in the musculoskeletal (orthopaedics, trauma, maxillofacial (including dental) and spine), tissue engineering, and regenerative medicine fields. eCM is the official research journal of AO CMF, AO Trauma, Biometal, European Orthopedic Research Society (EORS), Scandinavian Society for Biomaterials (ScSB), Swiss Society for Biomaterials & Regenerative Medicine (SSB+RM), and Tissue & Cell Engineering Society (TCES).

eCM is a world-wide completely open access journal (no reading charges of any kind), with a transparent review processes and governance, including a transparent route to becoming a member of the Editorial Review Board.
