The AO Foundation is delighted to announce the launch of its latest innovation initiative, the AO Development Incubator (AODI). This incubator fosters valuable ideas that fit AO's vision and mission. AODI supports inventors to build and execute project plans towards a proof of concept (PoC), with projects originating from anyone within AO or from outside the organization. The PoC should lead to a valorization of the idea.
Why has AODI been launched?
To support inventors in securing the Intellectual Property (IP)
To support inventors in developing a PoC
To support inventors in planning the PoC valorization
Open calls for application
AODI will have at least one call a year for new proposals, each targeting different areas of expertise. PoC for a selected project should be achieved within a 1-5 year timeframe. The first deadline to submit a proposal for funding in 2017 is May 22, 2017. The area of focus for this call is: Improvement in patient care as it applies to orthopedic trauma, spinal conditions, craniomaxillofacial surgery and veterinary surgery.
The form must be returned before the deadline to firstname.lastname@example.org with all relevant documents.
