All applications for jobs at the AO are processed transparently through standardized steps which ensure a fair selection procedure. These steps are detailed below:

1.   Scan of applications by HR
2.   Definition of a shortlist with the line manager
3.   First interview with HR
4.   HR gives recommendations/ratings
5.   Second interview with the line manager
6.   Questionnaire "Master Person Analysis" completed by final candidates
7.   HR obtains references for final candidates
8.   Decision of the line manager including HR recommendation
