A first for AONeuro

The first AO webinar to receive CME accreditation is the Pediatric TBI which was broadcast by AONeuro during the AO Foundation Davos Courses 2014 on December 15.

The AONeuro Webinar—Pediatric TBI is the first ever AO webinar to receive CME accreditation. This significant event took place on December 15, during the AO Foundation Davos Courses 2014. Each of the 30 participants who were logged into the webinar were awarded 1 hour of European external CME credits by the European Union of Medical Specialists.

This live webinar, which was delivered by Dr Aurelia Peraud (DE), Dr Stephen Lewis (AUS), and Dr Christian Matula (AU), covered the current best strategies and considerations for managing pediatric patients with a traumatic brain injury (TBI). The content was delivered through an introductory lecture followed by case presentations to deepen knowledge and enrich the discussion about optimal treatment.
