TK Office

The TK Office manages the TK System. The TK Office is supported by engineers from the AO Research Institute (ARI) in preparing meetings, taking minutes and follow-up on the decisions made. The TK Office's primary goal is to provide an optimal environment to the medical members so that their clinical input is implemented in the development process.

The TK Office is responsible for all information on:

  • meetings (agenda, preparation, minutes, enclosures, etc)
  • projects (project lists, coordination of information, workflow support, etc)
  • devices and methods


The TK Office administers the TK databases (minutes, project lists, enclosures etc.) according to the decisions of the TK Executive Board.

Further tasks of the TK Office are:

  • definition of unique project numbers and names, as well as names of devices and methods
  • organization of meetings (location, hotels and traveling expenses, etc)
  • budgeting of the expenses of the TK System
  • archiving of all project documents, descriptions, indications, and educational materials relevant for the approval of the device/method by the Specialty AOTK
  • providing specific information to other AO institutions on request
  • support in production of the brochure "TK News: New Products from AO Development" and update of the "Innovations" website

The TK Office reports directly to the President of the TK System.
