About

The AOAA helps to attract and hold the interest of leading young trauma surgeons. This Association affords a channel of communication between committed surgeons and the AO bodies. It encourages the development and progress of fracture management through the experiences and ideas of its members throughout the world. Furthermore, its objective is to update the Alumni on current AO trends and activities in the fields of research, development, education and documentation.

The establishing meeting of the Czech AOAA Chapter took place on Wednesday, Dec.19, 2002 in Prague. Have a look at some pictures (below) and the report (PDF-file 10KB) of this event. Twenty-four inscribed members of the AOAA were present, which represents more than 50% of all members. The current number of members is 40 (February 2010).
